Tree: standard-upright growth habit, of medium-high vigour, easy to prune; bloom is early-medium, abundant; the yield is good. Flower is showy, glands are reniform.
Date of ripening: 80 days from full bloom to ripening date, middle of June in the southern Po Valley (northern Italy).
Fruit: round, symmetrical and of good size for the early season (150-170g); overcolour is 90-100% bright red on a yellow ground colour; no russeting. Flesh is yellow, firm, slow softening, of uniform ripening. Excellent aromatic flavour, very sweet, with medium-low acidity. Pit is adherent, not prone to split.
Overall: very interesting early cultivar for fruit of outstanding eating quality, of high and persistent yield ; needs early thinning and strong (even mechanical).
